Your Revival: The Spark America Needs for an Awakening
You can feel it—a growing hunger for truth, hope, and meaning after years of academia, media, and entertainment tirelessly working to dismantle the core values that built our great nation.
People are ready for change, and with the help of believers like you, I believe we’re going to see it.
Signs of a Spiritual Awakening
The signs are undeniable. Take, for instance, what we’re seeing with men.
Specifically, young men are attending church at unprecedented rates when we’re so used to seeing women lead the way in spirituality.
I can only describe it as a reaction to an action.
Men are exhausted of being told to suppress who God created them to be. They don’t want to be told that their masculinity is “toxic,” or that they’re part of the “patriarchy.” They want to be the men God has called them to be—not the emasculated boys culture is telling them they have to be.

"AS LONG AS GOD GIVES ME BREATH, I WILL KEEP PREACHING THE GOSPEL. IT'S OUR ONLY HOPE!"
- Greg Laurie
A powerful shift is happening.
We’re even seeing it through the surge of Bible sales. People are looking for something other than what culture’s been offering. They want to know truth. They want to know what God has to say about hope, their lives, their identity—all of the truths that have been blurred.
People are rejecting hopelessness. We’re ready for real meaning.
That’s why Hollywood is stumbling over itself as it tries to reach people with films like the Snow White remake, while biblical dramas like The Chosen and House of David are on the rise.
People are starving.
Not for politics. Not for propaganda.
But for truth, redemption—and Jesus. And you have a part to play in that.
Revival Starts with You
A nationwide awakening begins in the church. It starts with us. That means we need to get back to the Christian life as it was meant to be lived.
God even gives us a template for revival that I often quote: “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV).
Notice the words If My people. The reason it starts with us is because it can change everything when God’s people come alive spiritually.
Steps for Personal Revival
Maybe you need a personal revival—a fresh touch from God in your own life. Jesus gave the three Rs for getting right with God. He said, “You have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent” (Revelation 2:4–5 NKJV).
- Remember a time your faith was stronger than it is now.
- Repent and go back to where you were before.
- Repeat the things you did when your spiritual life was strong.
You don’t have to wait for a wave of emotion to overtake you. Act first, and the fire will follow—that includes reading your Bible, praying, and sharing the Gospel.
Sharing Your Faith Revives You
Sometimes, no matter how much we read Scripture, faithfully attend church, or pray, we still feel off spiritually. That’s because we need an outlet for the truth God has poured into us.
It’s like someone saying, “I eat all the time, but I feel sluggish and drained.” You don’t need more food—you need to move! You need spiritual exercise.
The Bible states, “Those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed” (Proverbs 11:25 NKJV). As you’re giving to others, you’ll find that you’re replenished yourself.
With this year’s Harvest Crusade quickly approaching, I’m reminded of this even more.
Over the course of our 36-year history, I’ve heard time and time again of the marvelous effects of people turning their faith into action.
Believers like Heidi, who took the step to point people like her brother, Jose, to Jesus Christ.
My sister and her husband invited me [to the crusade] . . . It was a beautiful moment . . . you feel like you're one part of everybody, and it shows you that there's still something to live for . . . Some of my doubts, they were erased, so to speak, like negative thoughts. They were rewritten. —Jose
It's a glorious feeling to see someone that you love reach out to the greatest, the King of all kings. —Heidi
Or take Mark’s story he shared with me.
My name is Mark, from New York. I was saved at your crusade in Madison Square Garden in [the] 2000s and if it wasn’t for my mom pulling me to your crusade and me listening to your teachings, I wouldn’t be here today probably. You saved my life.
If you really love someone, you want them to know Jesus. And if you’ve ever had the privilege to see someone accept Christ, especially after sharing the Gospel with them, you know it’s one of life’s greatest joys.
Be Part of the Movement
We’re assured throughout Scripture that God can use one person for His bigger purposes. Ordinary people like you and me.
Like Nehemiah rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem, we must rise to the challenge to restore the spiritual foundation that has been eroded, each doing our part.
Make 2 Chronicles 7:14 personal: “If I will turn from my sins and pray and seek His face, God will hear from Heaven, forgive me my sin, and heal the land.”
Your personal revival is the spark our nation needs if we want to see a great spiritual awakening. Ultimately, God will decide if it happens, but we can prepare the ground.
Let’s not just talk about and wish for revival—let’s actually be part of it.

What Harvest is doing
“. . .I believe my heart was prepared for the message I found on TBN. . . Pastor Laurie spoke to my heart, and I really understood my wrong standing with the Living God, feeling guilt and remorse for my past. Praying with Pastor lifted my spirit and I felt unburdened and relieved in knowing my eternal future is NOW secured. . .” —Steve
“I took my mom to the Harvest Crusade at Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego many years ago and she accepted Christ that night. This is the same woman who told me I was crazy when I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior and was born again.
I will never forget that night when she came up to me with her excited hands in the air, ‘I am born again.’” —Analei
“I heard you for the first time many years ago on the radio, and was so moved by your message that I eagerly said the prayer with you at the end of the broadcast and gave my life to Christ that day. Today, my husband and (now adult) kids are saved. God has continually blessed our lives more than we ever deserve. Thank you for what you do in obeying God's calling on your life. I continue to be amazed by the work He does through you.” —Elizabeth
